This is an absolute delight of a recipe which is super simple.
STRAWBERRY AND CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
Ingredients
15-20 fresh strawberries
1 cup chopped milk chocolate
1 cup fresh cream
1½ cups whipping cream
Chocolate wafer sticks for garnish
Method
1. To make ganache heat fresh cream in a non-stick pan add milk chocolate and mix cook on low heat till the chocolate melts.
2. Take the pan off the heat and transfer the chocolate ganache into a bowl and allow to cool to room temperature.
3. Whip the whipping cream with an electric hand beater till soft peaks appear. Transfer into a piping bag.
4. Put the whipped cream in the chocolate ganache and gently fold it.
5. Chop 12-15 strawberries and slice the remaining.
6. To serve put a portion of the chopped strawberries into serving glasses. Pipe out the chocolate mousse.
7. Garnish with strawberry slices and chocolate wafer sticks. Serve.
