Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) (The department started imparting instructions with the most modern curriculum and syllabus to the students offering undergraduate (B.Tech CSE), post graduate (M.Tech CSE) and integrated M.Tech (CSE) course since 2015. The department maintains an excellent teaching / learning and research environment with dedicated, qualified and dynamic faculties and well-equipped laboratory. The department of Computer science & engineering embodies the university tradition of excellence in engineering education. Computer science & engineering is in a period of exciting growth and opportunity. CSE graduates capture leading academic appointments as well as opportunities in renowned computer industry. The department includes highly sophisticated computer labs with central computing facilities, computer organization and architecture laboratory, microprocessor laboratory and research laboratory). Soft computing and networking laboratories are the broad areas into which the researchers have made a foray. The departmental faculties are engaged in research in diverse topics focusing in the areas of data mining, data warehousing, artificial intelligence incorporating neural networks, fuzzy logics applications, machine learning etc., cloud computing areas and the newest areas like big data analytics and security of big data. Besides research and development, the departmental faculties are also involved in organizing various workshops and national / international conferences. Since foundation the department is continuously contributing novel and innovative ideas in computer science & engineering to keep pace with the latest technological developments. Moreover the department ensures high quality learning activities to the students by involving well trained and qualified faculty members from various industries and research areas. Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) (The development of the department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) was in the year 2015 with the introduction of undergraduate course. The department over the time has grown in several dimensions and provides a magnetic ambience in teaching & learning. The department offers four years full time B.Tech course along with two years master degree. The department also offers Integrated B.Tech –M.Tech course (5years) and Ph.D in several areas. The faculties are engaged in research in diverse topics focusing in the telecommunication), antenna & microwave, micro-electronics & VLSI. It is well-equipped with state of the art laboratories in the areas of VLSI, Signal Processing, microwave, antenna and wireless communication. The faculties of the department are involved in various outreach activities by organizing several workshops and conferences. The department has established a good track record in teaching and research among the regional institutes through consistent effort of faculty and staff members, students and administration and continuous upgradation of syllabus.
