Student Of The Year 2 was supposed to release this year but has now been pushed to May 2019. Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff has tried to give us a gist of what we can expect from the film. He revealed that the film is a bit of Glee, Grease, High School Musical and Step Up. Oh yea, he called it a bit fun-loving popcorn film as well. So whatever you assumed after checking out the posters of the film may not be right. For one, we did feel the posters bore an uncanny resemblance to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. We aren't shaking off that feeling just yet. We had earlier said that the ex-students Alia-Varun-Sidharth will shoot for a song which will be part of the opening credits of the sequel. The film���������s makers wanted to shoot the song, which will feature the trio in the opening credits, on a large canvas. They are yet to take a call on whether they should shoot in Delhi, Pune or Mumbai. It will be shot either in a stadium or on a lavish set. This song will mark the beginning of the sequel and will see SOTY���������s lead actors, Varun, Alia and Sid, passing the baton to the new batch of students.
