HOW TO MAKE CONDENSED MILK
Ingredients
2 cups full fat milk
1 cup sugar
½ tsp baking soda
Method
1. Heat milk in a wide non-stick pan. Add sugar and mix well. Cook till the sugar melts while stirring continuously.
2. Once the sugar has melted continue to cook till it caramelizes and the mixture thickens again stirring continuously.
3. Switch the heat off add baking soda and mix well. The mixture will turn foamy let it settle completely. Allow it to cool to room temperature.
4. Strain the condensed milk into a glass jar allow it to cool completely before covering it with a lid.
5. Use as required. You can store it refrigerated for up to 5-6 days and use as required.
