JAMUN SYRUP
Ingredients
1 ยฝ cups Jawa plump (jamun) deseeded
2 cups water
ยฝ cup sugar
1 lemon halved
Salt to taste
Method
1. Heat a pan add jamun water and simmer for 7-10 minutes gently mashing the jamuns.
2. Add sugar and continue to simmer switch off the heat add the juice of half a lemon salt to taste and stir.
3. Set aside the mixture and allow to cool.
4. Pour the mixture into a blender jar and blend to a fine consistency.
5. Strain mixture through a fine strainer.
6. Store in an air tight container use as required.
7. To make the jamun fizz add to 2 tbsps of the prepaid syrup add black salt top up with chilled soda garnish with a few mint leaves and serve.
