Methi dhebra toh sab banate hai par aap ne kabhi bajra methi ya mooli dhebra try kiya hai? MOOLI NA DHEBRA Ingredients 1 cup grated white radish 2 cups chopped radish greens 1½ cups pearl millet flour (bajre ka atta) + for dusting Salt to taste 2 tbsps white sesame seeds 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp coriander powder 2 tsps sugar ½ tsp red chilli powder ¼ tsp turmeric powder 2 tsps ginger-green chilli paste ¾ cup yogurt 1 tbsp oil Ghee for applying Pickle to serve Method 1. Take white radish in a large bowl. Add radish greens and salt and mix well. 2. Add pearl millet flour white sesame seeds cumin powder coriander powder sugar red chilli powder turmeric powder ginger-green chilli paste and yogurt and knead well. Add oil and knead into a soft dough. Cover with a muslin cloth. 3. Take a small portion of the dough and shape it into a ball. Dust the worktop with some pearl millet flour and place the dough ball on it. Roll it into a thin disc. 4. Heat a non-stick tawa. Place the disc on it and cook for 1-2 minutes. Flip and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes. 5. Apply some ghee on each side and continue to cook for a few seconds. 6. Arrange the dhebras on a serving plate and serve with pickle. BAJRA METHI DHEBRA Ingredients 1 cup pearl millet (bajra) flour ½ cup fresh fenugreek leaves (methi) ½ cup whole wheat flour (atta) 2 tablespoons gram flour (besan) 1 green chilli finely chopped 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon roasted white sesame seeds (safed til) ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder ½ teaspoon red chilli powder ¼ cup yogurt Salt to taste Oil for greasing and drizzling Method 1. Knead together pearl millet flour fenugreek leaves wheat flour gram flour green chillies ginger-garlic paste sesame seeds turmeric powder chilli powder yogurt and salt with water as required to a soft dough. 2. Grease your palms with some oil and divide the dough into equal portions. Roll out into medium size thin discs. 3. Heat a non-stick tawa. Place discs on it and roast till the underside turns golden brown. Drizzle some oil and roast till golden brown from other side. 4. Serve hot with yogurt.
